Platform Engineer (Remoto)

bxblue is a fintech with a mission to help people access the cheapest personal credit in Brazil. Big names invested us in the national and international scene. We were accelerated by Y Combinator, an accelerator responsible for companies such as Airbnb, Dropbox, Heroku, Docker, and Twitch.

We were honored to be selected by Banco do Brasil to co-create together Brazil's first Loan API. We were on the list of 100 Startups to keep an eye on in 2019.

Since then, we have not stopped growing. Today, we are looking for our Platform Engineer.

We’ve been working doing remote work since day one and this position would be no different. You can work from wherever you want, remotely.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for design, implementation  and support of the production services, applications and platform components;
  • Be a reference for time in architectural decision;
  • Work closely with operations and software engineering teams to design and implement scalable and high performance solutions for our platform as a service and internal management tools;
  • Work closely with dev teams to understand common needs;
  • Drive automation of application deployment for production and pre-release environments;
  • Lead the creation of tools for infrastructure management, monitoring, and scalability;
  • Create, configure, support and troubleshoot issues with networked application environments;
  • Responsible for monitoring tools (prometheus, grafana, newrelic);
  • Triage and resolve issues onto bx platforms;
  • Ensure that the platform meets the needs of our customers and provide them.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in building and supporting application platforms or infrastructure
  • Experience with software development best practices (SOLID, TDD, etc)
  • A data driven approach to problem solving
  • Advanced English
  • Proactive about developing internal features and tools for improving the developer experience
