The mission of this role is to lead in creating and communicating, then manage and execute all aspects of brand, positioning and strategic communications to support brand awareness, leverage growth increasing market share, and as a result, generate new demand as well as extending the retention and engagement levels. 

As Conta Azul evolves its positioning developing new products and offers, this role must have the capability to architect brands accordingly in order to communicate properly to each value stream. The ability to measure and report on campaign and individual campaign stage performance is required.


  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights.

  • Shape and communicate our vision and mission.

  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.

  • Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives.

  • Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”.

  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates.

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs.

  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities.

  • Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.

  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions.

  • Devise innovative growth strategies.

  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as Brand Manager or Brand Director.

  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives.

  • 10+ years experience with branding and strategic communications.

  • Experience with B2B markets.

  • Branding, Public Relations, Communities and Social Media savvy.

  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.

  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices.

  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind.
