Every Engineer at Liv Up is responsible for
Understanding the business and the processes related to each project,
Designing and building easy-to-understand APIs, services and applications in Node.js, React.js & MongoDB. (Previous experience with these technologies is a plus, NOT a prerequisite).
Creating scalable, maintainable and user driven solutions.
Keeping us agile, from helping us evolve our development processes and architecture to developing automated tests, improving CI/CD and infra.
Questioning why things are made the way they are and raising our bar.

About our selection process
From your application until the end of the process it usually follows a few steps. Before the interview, you may have an online test to probe your skills. After that, our interviews are divided in two parts, the first one is a cultural fit interview and the other part is a technical interview.
We are a Portuguese speaking company. This is written in English because 1) we value diversity and if you’re a foreign candidate, you’re more than welcome here, and 2) if you are Brazilian it is important to learn the most from the rest of the world.
