We are a Japanese company that is now arriving in Senegal.

MODEC has signed a contract with Woodside Energy Senegal B.V. to supply a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility located offshore Senegal.

The FPSO will be deployed at the Sangomar field located approximately 100 kilometers south of Dakar, Senegal. The Sangomar Field Development is Senegal's first offshore oil development. MODEC is planning to operate and maintain such FPSO through local operation company MODEC SENEGAL S.A.S.U (MOSEN) for 10 years firm period from 2023 and potential optional period of further 10 years (maximum 20 years from 2023).

Scheduled for delivery in early 2023, the FPSO vessel will be permanently moored at a water depth of approximately 780 meters by an External Turret mooring system. The FPSO will be capable of processing 100,000 barrels of crude oil per day.

In Africa, MODEC currently operates two (2) FPSOs in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire as well as it has supplied another seven (7) floating production facilities such as FPSO, FSO and Tension Leg Platform (TLP) that have been installed in Angola, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Nigeria.

Nous sommes une entreprise japonaise qui s´installe au Sénégal.

MODEC a signé un contrat avec Woodside Energy Senegal B.V. pour la fourniture d’unité de production et stockage (FPSO)  situé au large du Sénégal.

Le FPSO sera déployé sur le champ Sangomar situé à environ 100 kilomètres au sud de Dakar, au Sénégal. La phase 1 du développement du champ Sangomar est le premier développement pétrolier offshore du Sénégal. MODEC prévoit d'exploiter et de maintenir un tel FPSO par l'intermédiaire de la société d'exploitation locale MODEC SENEGAL S.A.S.U (MOSEN) pendant une période ferme de 10 ans à partir de 2023 et une période facultative potentielle de 10 ans supplémentaires (maximum 20 ans à partir de 2023).

La livraison est prévue en début d’année 2023, le navire FPSO sera amarré en permanence à une profondeur d’eau d’environ 780 mètres par un système d’amarrage de tourelle externe. Le FPSO sera capable de traiter 100 000 barils de pétrole brut par jour.

En Afrique, MODEC exploite actuellement deux (2) FPSO au Ghana et en Côte d’Ivoire et fournit sept autres (7) installations de production flottantes telles que FPSO, FSO et plateformes lignes tendues (TLP - Tension Leg Platform) qui ont été installées en Angola, au Cameroun, en Guinée équatoriale, au Gabon et au Nigéria.
